Ready to Refresh that Wardrobe!
We are finally rolling into Spring 2021 and if you ask me, that warrants a wardrobe refresh. If your style totally changed in one way or another over the course of this year, you are not alone. Since most of our lifestyles have changed, the contents of our closet have been altered as well! This year, I want to make sure every time you go to get dressed, you are feeling it girl! Feeling comfortable but on trend, feeling joyful and ready for the change of season. In year's past, a wardrobe refresh would have consisted of bold accessories, or a new trendy sweater, and so on and so forth, but this time, Capricious is highlighting the items we truly believe will ensure you feel good about yourself and how you look every day as we continue our indoor lifestyle but prepare to break free!
Featuring loungewear that should replace your stained sweatpants, dresses that will actually feel comfortable as you work from home, but take you on errands and perhaps a night out with the girls? Fresh takes on knitwear too, and denim that fits you the way it should!

1. Floral is everything. The Spring 2021 pattern for sure!
This Beautiful Shoshanna floral printed blouse has great ruffle details. Style has a front button placket and long sleeves with small smocked cuff. The fact that it’s unlined is delicate and romantic!
2. All you need to feel Free is a Dress!
Something that is comfortable, cool and can be dressed up too! I see this Part Two flouncy number with your favorite sneakers and a jean jacket or with booties and a leather jacket to head downtown for a night out! (Part Two Dress available in-store at Capricious!)
3. Athleisure
Thanks to recent trend developments, simple athleisure has become a must-have! These comfortable joggers allow you to live your life comfortably without sacrificing style. Whether you're lounging around the house or are running errands, these pants will give you effortless style! Pair with any sweater in the Brodie collection or as always, a great tee and jean jacket. 4. Fresh Denim!
I maintain that Jeans are now the most essential part of building any woman’s wardrobe, and there’s nothing like a new pair that REALLY fit to make you feel like Brooke Sheilds in Calvins! DL1961 are an incredible fit and retain their shape like no other with comfort stretch. Below are my two current faves and are available in-store at Capricious!
Bridget is a high-rise, boot cut fit with a 33" inseam. Featured here in Admiral wash and a clean hem BUT…DL1961 provides a printed cut line at 31”if you prefer to cut it yourself for a raw, authentic look!
Florence is a mid-rise, cropped stretch skinny that utilizes the DL1961 technology to smooth, sculpt, and conform to your body for the perfect fit. Shown in Manilla, a beautiful cream color that is so on trend and she has faux front pockets and clean hem.
5. Scarf plus Cardigan = Scarfigan.

6. There is definitely a theme here, to Refresh but the underlying feeling is comfort!
Something that has taken me awhile to accept is the hoodie, yet it’s everywhere! And why you ask? Because the multifunctional hoodie trumps all casual wear this year as they are stylish, comfortable and many say practical. Layering a hoodie is cute- I like it under a blazer or jean jacket best, maybe paired with cute skinnies and booties (or sneakers).
